this is all just random waffle bruh
the 3rd studio album by jerimiawongo, released around 17:30 gmt on january 12th, 2022, exactly 3 months after the release of our debut album “administration & principal”. the album once again keeps the same objective as the previous records, to make the worst albums known to man. this time is a little bit different however, as more “”"”traditional”””” songwriting techniques were added to make the album generally follow song structure instead of being random goofy instruments and samples thrown together as a lot of the first two albums were. the album also contains a lot of written lyrics, a very big first at this point in our career, albeit they were written to be fucking stupid ahh hell. freestyling is still prevalent, for example on “denial” or “bargaining”.
the albums concept is to take you through the 5 (plus 2, shock and testing) stages of grief, as well as a hello and goodbye at the start and finish. the lyrics and instrumentals reflect the stage that the listener is on. the event that would have caused the listener to go through these stages? deciding to listen to the album without muting it
the first tease for the album was on january 4th, 2022, when a tweet was posted, saying “bso0v_cmngsn1-2”. then on january 11th, 2022, a tweet, saying “see u soon .” was posted, followed 7 minutes later with an image, containing the tracklist and a portion of the album cover, inverted, with the text “expect.3mnths:A&P”. “3mnths:A&P” was a small hint towards the release date, as the album was released exactly 3 months after the first album, “administration & prinicpal” was released. the numbers at the bottom, “2027110122” mean 20:27 gmt, 11th of january, 2022, the exact date the album was finished. the album was released 21 hours later.
the lovely photo was taken on december 30th, 2021 at 22:29 gmt. it was then inverted, and then put through as many of the pre-made apple photos filters to try the best to make it look as much as the original image, and then inverted again to create this rather strange effect. the artist and album title are written in the corners. it was inspired by the album cover for “richard d. james album” by aphex twin.
this one is funny cuz it very explicitly tells you to read the genius page while listening. cuz this was the first time many of the lyrics were prewritten

the “am i in denial? i dont think i am” was taken from some kitchen nightmares episode. it’s still to this day one of the funniest quotes i think i have ever heard, so i had to build a jerimiawongo song around it. (if i find the episode ill link it here)
THE MOST REAL LYRICS EVER WRITTEn. the 2nd verse was recorded in a classroom (as pretty much all verses in these earlier albums were), however there was a teacher present. i remember the teacher looking over very very concered, and i was trying to tell my friend who was “Singing” to tone it down but it wasnt getting to him. i wonder if he was actually talking about someone

probably the best jerimiawongo song we had released up to this point. instrumental is just some old shitpost song made for a fish from a 24hr fish livestream but extended and then (kind of ruined) with reverb.
the “tune” played by the “guitar” is literally just only in dreams by weezer.
